About
Who builds this, and why it works this way
AIgnored is a small product with a narrow job: find the established local businesses that AI assistants never name, score how far behind they are, and write the message an agency can send them.
The founder note
Built by the developer behind LeadRot, sold on Flippa in 2026. There is no growth department writing the copy on this site, which is why none of it claims a customer count, a case study or a testimonial that does not exist yet.
Messages sent through the contact form go straight to the people who run AIgnored. If something on the site is wrong, saying so gets it fixed rather than routed.
Why your own API keys
Every scan runs on keys you own. You paste a Gemini, OpenAI or Perplexity key and a Google Places key into settings, they are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and the workers decrypt them only for the length of a call.
It keeps the price honest. A product that resells API calls has to mark them up, and then has a reason to run fewer of them than your answer deserves. Here the provider bills you directly at their price, and the subscription pays for the pipeline around it.
It keeps the quota yours. Your scan is never queued behind someone else's, and a rate limit on our account cannot stop your work.
It survives us. If this product disappeared tomorrow, the keys are still yours and the exported data is still readable. That matters more than it sounds for a small tool.
The trade is a five minute setup before the first scan. The AI keys guide walks through it, and Gemini's free grounding allowance means a first scan usually costs nothing.
What this deliberately does not do
No scraping. Official APIs only. No headless browsers, no scraper services, no reselling of data pulled out of someone else's page. It is the reason the business list comes from the Google Places API and the answers come from the model APIs.
No warehouse of Google data. We store the Places place_id, which Google allows indefinitely, plus the snapshot the scoring needs. Names and ratings hydrate live with your key whenever you open a table. The privacy page says exactly what is kept and why.
No invented numbers. Every score on the site traces back to a question we asked a model and an answer you can open and read. Where the method is approximate, the methodology page says so in the same detail as the parts that work well.
Where this is going
AIgnored is built to be handed over cleanly: documented setup, migrations that run from zero, tests that prove the pipeline, and no dependency that cannot be replaced by its buyer. If you are reading this as a potential owner rather than a user, write in and ask for the handover document.
