Terms of service
These terms are the agreement between you and the company named in "Who runs this site" above, for your use of AIgnored. Using the site or running a scan means you accept them. They are written to be read, so if anything here is unclear, email hello@aignored.com and ask before you sign up.
1. Your account
You need an account to run a scan. Give a real email address, keep the password to yourself, and take responsibility for what happens under the account. One account is for one person or one company. Sharing a login across an agency is fine; reselling logins is not.
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract in your country. If you sign up for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
2. Your API keys and provider accounts
AIgnored runs on your own API keys. You bring keys for Google Places and for the AI providers you want to query, and every scan spends your quota with those providers, not ours.
The provider accounts are yours. You open them, you pay the provider directly at their prices, and we never add a margin. We do not see your invoices and we cannot control what a provider charges. If a provider changes its prices, rate limits or terms, that is between you and them.
You are responsible for following each provider's terms. That means the Google Maps Platform terms and the Places API policies for your Places key, the OpenAI terms for an OpenAI key, the Google Gemini API terms for a Gemini key, the Perplexity terms for a Perplexity key, and the same for any other provider we add to the list later. If a provider suspends or revokes your key, scans that use it stop until you sort it out with them, and that is not a fault of this service.
We store your keys encrypted with AES-256-GCM and use them only to run the scans you start and the key checks you ask for. We never show a stored key back to you or to anyone else. You can delete a key at any time in settings.
3. Acceptable use
AIgnored writes outreach for you. What you send with it is yours to answer for. Specifically:
- No harassment. Do not use the generated messages to threaten, insult, pressure or repeatedly contact a business that has asked you to stop. One clear offer is outreach. The same offer sent again after a no is not.
- Email law is your responsibility. If you send email through your own tools, you are the sender under CAN-SPAM, the GDPR and the ePrivacy rules, and under whatever applies where the business sits. That means a real sender identity, a working unsubscribe, honouring opt-outs, and a lawful basis for contacting the business at all. We do not send your outreach for you, so for every message you send you are the sender and you decide what personal data goes into it. How we handle the lead data you keep in AIgnored is set out in section 10.
- No misrepresentation. Do not present a scan as an official Google, OpenAI, Perplexity or Anthropic audit, or claim results the numbers do not show. The scores are estimates and the methodology page says exactly how they are produced.
- No reselling the raw data feed. Use the results to run your own outreach and to serve your own clients. Do not republish Google Places data as a database or list product; Google's terms forbid that and so do these.
- No attacks on the service. No scraping this site, no automated account creation, no attempts to reach another account's data, no load testing without asking first.
Break these and we can suspend or close the account. Where the breach is serious, for example harassment of a business or an attempt to reach other users' data, we do it immediately.
4. The service is provided as is
AIgnored asks AI models the same kind of question a customer would ask and reports what came back. That is an estimate, not a measurement. Models are not deterministic, so the same question can return different names on different days, and API answers are a close approximation of the consumer apps rather than a transcript of them. The methodology page sets out the limits in full and is part of these terms.
So, to the extent the law allows: the service is provided as is and as available, with no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose. We do not promise that a business you contact will reply, that a score will move, or that a third-party API will keep working the way it does today.
Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be removed by contract under the law of your country.
5. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable to the other for lost profits, lost business or indirect loss. Our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If you are on the free plan, that figure is zero, which is another reason to run a paid scan before you build a business on the output.
This limit does not apply to anything that cannot be limited by law, such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
6. Payments, plans and refunds
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, or yearly in advance where a yearly price is offered. Prices are shown on the pricing page and the plan sets how much you can run here, not what the scans cost you at the providers.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy sells the subscription to you, appears on your card statement, issues the invoice and collects and remits sales tax and VAT. Their terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself. We never see or store your card number; we keep the card brand, the last four digits and the subscription id so the billing page can show you what is active.
Refunds follow the refund policy: 14 days, in full, no questions asked.
7. Ending the account
You can leave at any time. Cancel the subscription in the Lemon Squeezy billing portal and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account returns to Free. To delete the account and everything in it, use privacy and your data. That deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
We can close an account that breaks section 3, that we are required to close by law, or that has been on a plan we stopped offering. Except for serious breaches, we give you notice by email first and time to export your data. If we close a paid account for our own convenience, we refund the unused part of the period.
8. Changes to the service and to these terms
The product changes. Features get added, and a provider can remove a model we query at short notice. We can change these terms, and when a change matters to you, for example a price change or a new restriction on use, we email the address on the account before it takes effect. Carrying on using the service after that means you accept the new version. The date at the foot of this page is the date of the current version.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Romania, and the courts of Romania have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you can still bring a claim there.
Before anyone goes to court: email hello@aignored.com. Almost everything is a misunderstanding that a reply fixes in a day.
10. Data processing terms for your leads
Who is responsible for what. For your own account data we are the controller, as the privacy policy explains. For personal data inside what you keep in AIgnored about other people, such as an owner's name in a business name, a lead note or outreach text, you are the controller and we are your processor. This section is the data processing agreement Article 28 of the GDPR asks for, and it applies for as long as you have an account. If your organisation needs it as a signed document, email hello@aignored.com.
- What we process and why. Business names, website domains, ratings and review counts from your scans, and the notes, statuses and outreach text you add to leads. The people concerned are owners, sole traders and staff of those businesses. We store and show that data so you can run scans, keep leads and write outreach, and for nothing else.
- Your instructions. We process it only to provide the service these terms describe. If a law requires anything more, we tell you first, unless that law forbids telling you.
- Confidentiality and security. Only the people who run AIgnored can reach the data, and they are bound to keep it confidential. The security measures are in section 8 of the privacy policy: HTTPS, row level security on every table, and encrypted provider keys.
- Subprocessors. You authorise the companies listed in section 4 of the privacy policy. Before another company starts handling this data, we update that list and email the address on the account. If you object, you can export your data and delete the account.
- Helping you meet your duties. The export and delete buttons on privacy and your data cover most requests. For a request from one of the people in your leads, a security review or an impact assessment, email us and we help with the information we have.
- Breaches. If a breach affects this data, we email you without undue delay after we find out, with what we know at that point.
- Deletion. Deleting a lead or the account deletes that data straight away. Copies in database backups age out within 90 days.
- Showing compliance. Ask at hello@aignored.com and we give you the information you need to show that this section is followed.
- Where it is stored. In the United States, on the data transfer terms each subprocessor publishes, as the privacy policy explains.
